Absolute Genomics is a CLIA and CAP -certified laboratory that utilizes advanced RT-PCR based platforms including OpenArray technology to perform molecular testing. Multiplex PCR technology is a high-throughput method that allows us to simultaneously process multiple samples in the shortest possible time. Currently, Absolute Genomics is providing molecular testing solutions for infectious disease identification including the respiratory tract, urinary tract, sexual health, nail, wound and antimicrobial resistance panels. Absolute Genomics utilizes real-time PCR technology which is a very sensitive technique that allows rapid amplification of a specific segment of DNA while combining amplification and detection into a single step. PCR makes billions of copies of a specific DNA fragment or gene which allows detection and ID of gene sequences.
Absolute Genomics utilizes real-time PCR technology which is a very sensitive and accurate technique for detecting pathogens and antibiotic resistance gene markers. This technique involves a single step detection method by rapidly amplifying a specific target segment of the pathogenʼs DNA/RNA. In each PCR reaction, the unique target DNA fragment is amplified into billions of copies that results in pathogen and antibiotic resistance marker gene recognition.
